Dr. Forster was born in 1952 and was raised on the North Shore of Long Island. He left Long Island to pursue an academic career at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He received a B.A. in religious studies and a minor in biology and chemistry. In 1978 he attended Life Chiropractic College and received a doctoral degree in chiropractic from Life College in Marietta, Georgia. During this time at the school he was editor of the largest chiropractic college periodical in the nation. Following that he completed a radiographic certification for 100 hours with Dr. Ernhardt and took multiple courses in personal injury management. From 1987 to 1989 he had the pleasure of serving as President of the American Chiropractic Thermographic Society. During this course duration he logged over 3,000 hours in seminars teaching electronic digital imaging thermography and also was the founding International Chiropractic Chairperson for the Council of Thermography from 1990 to 1993.
Dr. Forster has multiple published articles in thermographic and chiropractic journals in reference to various maladies that occur and the thermographic appearance of them including synovitis of the elbow, multiple level cervical stenosis, and reflex sympathetic dystrophy. In 1994 he was board certified by the Board of Chiropractic and Acupuncture, and he attended the University of Miami Medical College for 100 hours of acupuncture course. In 1995 he received Workmans' Compensation status with the State of Florida as an approved provider and was confirmed a technician status for paraspinal ultrasonography. In 1996 he underwent a Board of Acupuncture State of Florida apprenticeship program which lasted three years leading to a physician status in acupuncture. From 1996 to 1997 he was deemed Fellow in the American Society of Acupuncture and he was also Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture, later on to become a diplomat of that institution. In 1999 he was certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a diplomat in acupuncture taking a national recognized board. He also was certified for clean needle technique, and he has been deemed a continuing education lecturer for Logan College of Chiropractic, New York Chiropractic College, Life University, and a continuing education lecturer for the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture currently. He has taught hundreds of doctors on how to do electronic acupuncture, non-needle acupuncture as well as needle acupuncture including MDs, DCs, DOs and veterinarians.
In 2001, Dr. Forster was certified in Phazx non-cognitive homeopathic biofeedback and electrohomeopathy, and he is also certified to the diplomat status of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2005. During the time from 2001 to 2003 Dr. Forster completed a naturopathic medical degree at Florida College of Integrated Medicine, and we are pending Florida State licensing for him to be a practitioner in a naturopathic position. He holds chiropractic licenses in the State of North Carolina, naturopathic physician license in Idaho as well as Washington D.C.
